The Snow Leopard Is A Solitary Animal Living At Altitudes Over 4,000 Metres Above Sea Level On Steep Cliffs And Mountains Where Their Habitats Are Under Threat From Climate Change And Global Warming – They Live In The Snow And Its Disappearing!

Snow Leopards Are Built To Live In Freezing Conditions – Their Fur Grows Up To 12 Cms (5 Inches) In Length And Their Tails, Which Can Be Over A Metre Long, Are Designed Like Scarves To Keep Them Warm As They Nestle In The Snow. Their Feet Are, Of Course, Designed Like Snow Shoes.

Measuring Up To 5 Feet In Length And Weighing Up To 500 Pounds, Snow Leopards Are More Closely Related To Tigers Than Leopards. That Said, They Cannot Roar And Their Meow Is Described At A High Pitched Piercing Yow Which Can Be Heard For Miles.
